God wants His children to prosper. However, many people engage in foolish behaviors that block financial blessings. We must remove these obstacles.
1. Dislike Working
Lazy people or those who do not work cannot receive financial blessings. "If a man will not work, he shall not eat" (2 Thess 3:10). For financial blessing, one must work diligently.
2. Being Stingy
A stingy person cannot be rich. "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously" (2 Cor 9:6). Stinginess blocks God's blessing.
3. Weak in Financial Management
Those who manage finances without wisdom cannot receive blessings. As God's stewards, we must reduce unnecessary consumption and manage wisely.
4. Wrong Thinking
Prosperity of the soul comes before financial blessing. Wealth without spiritual growth can be a trap. We must be spiritually healthy first.
5. Stealing God's Things
The tithe belongs to God. You cannot expect blessings while robbing God (Mal 3:8-9). A full tithe is the foundation of financial blessing.
6. Not Sowing
Sowing and reaping is a biblical principle. If you do not share with others and do not sow, there is nothing to reap. "Give, and it will be given to you" (Luke 6:38).
7. Being Greedy
Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap. We must be content and thankful for what we have. Greed is a shortcut to destruction.
